Faculty fellowships are meant to help Birzeit University in maintaining its confident commitment to teaching and learning excellence by supporting faculty to pursue their doctoral and post- doctoral degrees abroad.

Internationalization is important for higher education everywhere. In Palestine, you add another layer of importance because of deep isolation, restricted movement and denied reentry of international faculty to Palestine.

Faculty fellowship is awarded to recognize outstanding faculty. The fellowships are awarded by the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
